Notes
- Each month the ONS checks the price of a pint of draught lager in a sample of pubs and bars across the UK, for its inflation figures. Each average here is of every price it checked over the 12 months, 9,172 in all: standard lager (3.4% to 4.2% alcohol) and premium lager (4.3% to 7.5%).
- The ONS published its own average price of a pint until January 2025. These averages are worked out from the same kind of price checks, but may differ slightly from how the ONS worked out its own.
- Regions are the ones the ONS collects prices in, which roughly match England's regions and the other UK countries: North is mostly the North East, and East Anglia is part of the East of England.
- Prices vary within each region, and some regions have only a few hundred prices, so small differences between regions may not be meaningful.
